Another excellent paintintg Trenton. Rare aeroplane to have a picture of. – Ted
Thanks Ted, I have always liked the lines of the sopwith Pup, Camel, and Snipe. Sopwith was quite a guy!

Nice to see something different! Good job!
Thanks Mr. Trickett! : )
So beautifully rendered!I would like to feature this in a new “Works on Paper” challenge and call it “Transport” or similar. Is this ok with you?
Sure, that would be great. Sorry I am so late in responding.
GREAT CAPTURE. I’VE HEARD THAT THE SOPWITH CAMEL WAS THE PLANE TO BEAT, BACK IN THEIR DAY ANYWAY. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE SO MUCH EASIER TO FLY AND MANUVEOUR THAN THE FOCKER TRIPLANE. BOB p)
This is the sopwith pup, it was actually a better plane than the camel, it’s biggest draw back was that it was under powered, but a great aircraft for training soon to be camel pilots. The Camel killed a lot of pilots, it would go into a severe spin if stalled in a left hand turn. Thanks again for the comments Bob.
Outstanding work Trenton !
