I’m a published children’s book illustrator. I have been working the past few years for August House publishing on a line of children’s books called Story Cove. It is a line of books being used in many schools around the greater Atlanta area and other schools around the country. We would illustrate the books and then use the vector assets to create a six to ten minute animation of the book as read by the author. I’m also working on illustrations for a book called Scary Stories, that I’m doing a series of watercolors and inks. I work in several mediums such as vector graphics, digital painting, pencil, watercolors, ink, and so on… My animation work is mostly in Flash and Toonboom Studio. I’ve been making 6-10 minute Flash animations of the Story Cove books for the last few years at about an animation every couple of months.
