“Stone Cold”

Stones collected from the field
Carefully placed cemented yield
Building blocks in foundations
Subtle each from imaginations

Laboured some high towers built
Wailing constant sword at hilt
Self imprisoned to never guess
Damsel always high in distress

Wailing heard the lonesome call
Ridden hard upon that tower fall
Knighted not with sword of sheen
Felled at battles driven, never seen

High built in tower narrow winding
Wailed distant calls, smiles not binding
Lofty expectations heralded from blue
Precipice invited to dive into….

Obliterated wail in awe of sky
Wailing heard thunderstruck cry
Stones collected, built each castle
Mote about, protected from hassle.

One level with a hearth warmed
Protected from false armies swarmed
Little stones placed in smiling fun
Castles built in the setting sun….

Rise.
