If I asked for your warm tender lips to be mine
And the sparkle in your eyes to remain all the time
If I asked for your touch would that be too much
And your head on the pillow with mine
If I asked for your warm embrace
And a smile to remain on your face
If I asked for your pain to go away
And for peace and happiness to stay
I know these are things that Santa can’t bring
So I’m leaving it all up to you
If you think I’ve been good enough for all this
Then that’s all I want … for Christmas
