One of five stones, Goliath was slain;
Shepherd boy, David, God did train –
Bears, lions, giants, all the same.
Enemies of God – fair game.
Born of a virgin, Jesus , His name
Healed the blind, the leper, the lame;
Wondrous words He did proclaim.
On the cross, He was giv’n to death’s shame;
Risen from Death’s curse – He came.
Mary arose to share this newfound fame –
Jesus Lives – she would proclaim
Man’s salvation –always, God’s aim.
In Roman’s letter, Paul set the stage;
Christ’s church, a new page.
Gentiles saw a new Hope
To Jesus –they did grope,
Sin cleansed by Divine Blood’s soap.
