You walk barefoot across the Earth / Feeling more then dirt beneath / Sensing what has been before
Oh the words I hear him hiss burn my mind. / “You’re not worth any of this, let yourself go, find my peace” / His laughter echos through these walls.
The Moon sets on your world of dreams. / The Sun now casts its brightness over a new day / of wonder in your life.
The mast bends and creaks with the strain as sails start to shear in the gale. / Men run as wooden arms drop, crashing to the deck and ropes flail in the wind.
Dark clouds gather, lightening lights up the sky in sheets of white. / Thunder cracks seconds later. / A storm in birth, A Tempest is born.
I reach down and softly touch your chest / instantly filling your heart with a love / that grows with each moment we’re together. / And keeps you warm when we’re apart
