I was born in Newport, South Wales in 1983. I grew up chasing sheep around fields and jumping over garden fences to retrieve my lost footballs. I stumbled my way awkwardly through compulsary education, knowing that one day there would be an art tutor that wouldn’t make me copy out the story of paint every time I flung paint up the walls. I relocated to Bristol shortly after graduating from the several colleges I studied at, to set about illustrating all the dark and wonderful things that had been lurking in the depths of my brain.
