The eight foot tall bronze statue of Desperate Dan walking (or perhaps dragging) his dog, Dawg while Minnie the Minx fixes Dan in the sights of her catapult.
These wonderful statues can be found in the City Square of Dundee, Scotland.
Desperate Dan is a Comic Strip character who appeared in The Dandy (the final printed edition of the Dandy was issued on 4 December 2012) while Minnie the Minx continues to appear in The Beano, both much loved children’s comics by D.C. Thomson of Dundee.
