Just about one mile from the town of Whitby in North Yorkshire, England, at the North end of Saltwick Bay is the large shale outcrop called Saltwick Nab. From some angles, Saltwick Nab has the shape of a huge whale rising out of the water.

This View is from the Cleveland Way cliff-top path.

If you look closely, you may be able to see the two people on the beach, it will give you some idea of the scale.
