As our cruise ship was leaving Venice, northern Italy at about 7pm, as the light was fading, on the 8th September 2012, this beautiful yacht was moored alongside the Riva dei Sette Martiri (Shore of the Seven Martyrs).
Built in 2003, the Felicità West, at 64m (210 ft), is the largest and fastest aluminium sailing yacht in the world.
The whole of Venice and its Lagoon is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
