Two Historic Scotland Category A Listed Bridges
Shot from the Promenade in South Queensferry, Scotland, the two Forth Bridges spanning the River Forth. The world famous Forth Rail Bridge is on the right and the Forth Road Bridge on the left.
The Rail Bridge was opened in 1890 and looks set to continue for another hundred years or so. The Road Bridge was opened in 1964 and a new replacement bridge is already in the early stages of construction and is expected to be completeted by 2016.
The Forth Rail Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A Listed structure. HB Number 40370.
The Forth Road Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A Listed structure. HB Number 47778.
