The Water of Leith is a river which runs through the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland.
There is a fanastic river walkway which runs from Balerno to Leith via Dean Village and is one of Edinburgh’s most popular walks. On most of the walk, you would never know that you were deep inside the city.
The Old and New Towns of Edinburgh are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
