The original Parish Bier (a timber-framed wheeled cart used for hauling a coffin), displayed in the Church Of Saint Margaret Of Antioch in the small town of Hawes, North Yorkshire, England.
Dating from 1850, the church is in an elevated position giving an excellent vantage point over the winding streets below.
St Margaret’s Church is an English Heritage Grade II Listed building (LBS Number: 323147).
Hawes is a small Market Town and civil parish in the Richmondshire district of North Yorkshire, England, historically within the North Riding of Yorkshire.
