This gnarled tree stands alone in a snowy field on the outskirts of South Queensferry, Scotland.
Snow (other than the short lived inch or so) has become increasingly rare at this latitude in Scotland over the last 20 years, so it is nice to see a decent fall of snow, even if it does cause chaos to our transport systems. Unfortunately, we now have about 2 foot of snow (60 cm) and the country has ground to a halt.
