One of the many little pools and small waterfalls on the Bruar Walk through the Bruar Gorge up to the spectacular Falls of Bruar.
Bruar is a small hamlet approximately 8 miles north west of Pitlochry and 3 miles north west of Blair Atholl in the beautiful Atholl Estates, in Highland Perthshire, Scotland.

nice image of a great place…t.here didnt ued to be trees here until Robert Burns wrote a poem to the then Duke of Athol telling him how much improved the area would be with trees…and he was right
Unfortunately, there are no survivors from the 4th Duke’s original plantings. the Gorge now has mostly, mixed larch (Larix deciduas) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris).
great shot love it.
