Artist's Description

The famous Forth Bridge as seen from the rocks on the outskirts of South Queensferry, Scotland.

The small boats are ships tenders from the Crown Princess cruise liner moored down river out of shot on the right. They were ferrying passengers to and from the Hawes Pier.

In the background can be seen the South Tower and the span of the Forth Road Bridge.

The Forth Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A listed structure. HB Number 40370.

The Forth Road Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A listed structure. HB Number 47778.

The Hawes Pier is an Historic Scotland Category C(S) listed structure. HB Number 47793.
