A very old shot from March 2001 showing the town of Haria in northern Lanzarote seen from Mirador de Haría, a high viewpoint just 5 km (3 miles) south of Haría.
If you look carefully, the town has the outline of a witch (bruja) flying on a broomstick. This is even more pronounced with the street lights at night. In Spain it is considered good luck to have a bruja in your house.
Lanzarote (pronounced [lanθaˈɾote] or [lansaˈɾote]), a Spanish island, is the easternmost of the autonomous Canary Islands, in the Atlantic Ocean, approximately 125 km off the coast of Africa and 1,000 km from the Iberian Peninsula.
Camera: Fujifilm FinePix 4700 Zoom (state of the digital art in 2001 – hehehe)
