The Reaper; a herring drifter by

Reaper is a Fifie sailing herring drifter, the most popular design of fishing boat on the East Coast of Scotland for the greater part of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

She is shown here moored in the little harbour at South Queensferry, Scotland, where the public were invited aboard to view the boat and the museum display in the fish hold.

Related shots can be found at: South Queensferry, Boats and Lowland Scotland.
