Constructed during 1899 – 1902, the North Bridge Arcade is located within a large block of tenements and shops in Edinburgh, Scotland.
Running between North Bridge and Cockburn Street in the Old Town, the arcade has round-arched entrances with decorative iron grilles, coffered ceiling with turquoise and gold star-spangled mosaics, original shop-fronts with bowed plate glass flanked by timber Ionic colonnettes and a central ribbed dome with lantern and original stained glass.
The North Bridge Arcade is part of a Category A Listed Group of Buildings (HB Number 30143).
The Old and New Towns of Edinburgh are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
