Another attempt at something a little bit different for me. I generally stick to colour, but I thought I would try converting a few of my images into mono.

The original colour version is below (click on the colour image to view it properly).

Fira, the capitol of Santorini is on top of a very large cliff. The town hangs precariously at the edge of the cliff.

See if you can spot the ponies which carry tourists up and down the cliff path from the dock at the base of the cliff.

Santorini, Greece, is one of the southern most islands of the Cycladic group in the Aegean Sea.

OK Tommy I’ll say this is great if you will!!!!!! lol You guys!!!!! But yes I see the ponies… but when I first saw the title , it computed “Spot, The Pony”…..lolol
I’ve been hanging lights on a ladder, maybe I should stay down on the ground!!!
It is a super image… let me know if you want me to fav it!!!! lolol

  • Ahhh, dear Jz, whether or not you think it is great is a matter of personal interpretation, and although I would hope that people will like my work, I would never presume that everyone will like it. It all comes down to individual taste. For instance, I generally do not like shots with the Orton effect applied (they just look out of focus to me), but I know that others really like this effect so it is not up to me to comment, it is just my personal taste. Everyone likes to get faves, but I never “expect” to get them. It is just a nice bonus when I do.

Pease be careful on the ladder, I hope you have hubby steadying it for you.

And no to hubby holding the ladder….he would shake it to see if I would fly away….lolol

  • Hehe, I know, but that won’t stop me tesing back …

I’m serious about the ladder. I fell off of one early this year when I was retrieving something from our loft. I ended up with a bump to my head and a large gash on my leg which took months to heal properly …
