One of the nice things about visiting the Mediterranean is that restaurants and bars generally have seating outside in the sunshine. It is lovely in the heat of the day just to sit and enjoy a coffee or a cool refreshing beer and watch life go on by.
We have observed over the years that the best restaurants and bars are the ones frequented by the locals and they are usually quite busy.
This little garden restaurant within the medieval Old Town of the City of Rhodes on the beautiful Greek Island of Rhodes looked so inviting, especially with the flowering shubs providing some shade against the wall, but as you can see, it was completely empty, so we decided to try elsewhere.
