We launched leggings! Step into a world of individuality.

Edinburgh, the Capitol City of Scotland, is a beautiful city and life can be very good. It is one of the major Banking and Financial capitols of the world.

The National Gallery of Scotland, just behind the sleeping figure, is testament to the fact that the arts and culture are alive and well in this lovely city, but as in every city, there are the misplaced and unfortunate souls who find that there is no place for them and are forced to live out their lives on the streets.

Spare a moment, and if you can, spare a little cash to help those less fortunate than ourselves, for there, but for the grace of God, go we all …

Taken at The Mound during the very enjoyable redbubble meet in Edinburgh, Scotland on 26th April 09. It was a great day out with a bunch of very talented photographers.

For a tighter view of the sleeper, have a look at Beauty Sleep, an excellent image from Rachael Macleod. Check out Rachael’s work, you will not be disappointed.

A really moving shot Tom, we should all help if we can, no-one else seems to be bothered especially the government
  • You are almost right Iain, Government and Councils do care, but only to the extent that they would like to sweep this problem under the carpet. They are not willing to make the investment required to address the problem properly.

There are so many young people on the streets now, you would think that we are a third world country. It was never like this when I was young.
