The River Dochart on the outskirts of Killin Village with the snow covered Grampian Mountain range in the background. The River Dochard runs into Loch Tay just beyond the village.
The picturesque village of Killin nestles amidst spectacular Highland scenery, in the Stirling district of Scotland at the heart of the Scottish Highlands.
The Grampian Mountains or Grampians (Am Monadh in Gaelic) are one of the three major mountain ranges in Scotland, extending northeast to southwest and forming a natural barrier between the Highlands and the Lowlands.
