The clock tower in the Village of Nimborio, the only settlement on the beautiful Greek Island of Halki (Chalki).
The residents of Tarpon Springs, Florida, USA (descendants of Halki sponge divers who were forced to relocate when the sponge diving around Halki became unprofitable) endowed Halki with money for the stone clock tower. Unfortunately, it does not work any more.
Halki is a small, charming island, part of the Dodecanese group of Greek islands, situated opposite the west coast of the Island of Rhodes.
