River Almond II by Tom Gomez

Currently unavailable for purchase

The river Almond in Almondell and Calderwood Country Park, West Lothian, Scotland. The park is a semi wild nature retreat open to all.

We have had so much rain this year that the trees and shrubbery are a verdant green; branches are very full and overhanging the river. The water is a deep brown as so much silt is being washed down because the rain has hardly stopped this summer.

Three bracketed JPGs converted to HDR in Photomatix.

More Zambizi to me Tom. See the crog just under the tree to the right!!

  • Don’t be silly, crocs could never survive in the Almond, it is far to close to Livingston, the locals would eat them …
