Strathaven Castle (also known as Avondale Castle) in the town of Strathaven, South Lanarkshire, Scotland was built around 1458 on the site of several earlier structures by Sir Andrew Stewart, 1st Lord Avondale.
Now a grand ruin, only the front facade and the North West tower remain standing and are ‘mostly’ intact.
