An English Heritage Grade II Listed Building

Shot from the top of Clifford’s Tower, looking North West over the rooftops of the City of York, North Yorkshire, England.

The tall clock tower on the right belongs to York Magistrates’ Court (built 1890/92) and on its left is the Fire Station, both on Clifford Street.

York Magistrates’ Court, the Fire Station and the Police Station are a group of English Heritage Grade II Listed buildings (Number: 1259239).

The City of York was originally named Eboracum by the Roman founders in 71 AD.
