Work continues in the River Forth on the foundations for the New Forth Crossing just slightly West of the Forth Road Bridge in East Central Scotland.
This shot is from the promenade in South Queensferry close to the Forth Rail Bridge, looking under the middle deck of the Forth Road Bridge.
This shot shows the foundation being assembled on Beamer Rock which will support the centre span of the new bridge in the middle of the river.
The bridge is scheduled to be opened in 2016.
