In Corfu Town (Kérkyra in Greek) on the beautiful Greek Island of Corfu, space is limited and tourists are abundant. Enterprising restaurateurs have to make the best use of the space available, so it is no surprise to find the tables of a little back street restaurant set out on the flat portions of an alleyway steps.
Corfu is the most northerly of the Grecian Ionian Islands. It is a green and beautiful place where the pace of life is not too taxing.
The Old Town of Corfu is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
