Came across this young guy (when I say “young”, he was about 35 minutes old) as we enjoyed a walk in the snow in our home town of South Queensferry, Scotland on 28th November 2010.

He was just standing there in the snow in front of the world famous Forth Bridge. To be honest he looked absolutely frozen.

The Forth Bridge is an Historic Scotland Category A listed structure. HB Number 40370.

Camera: Canon EOS 450D (Digital Rebel XSi in the USA)

Well, some snowmen have all the luck, snowballs or no. Or is that what the ‘cropped’ is all about? Hmmm. What ever his claim(s) to fame, I love his snowy person AND his snowy environs! Good going, Tom. Who built him?

  • Thank you Sheila, the “cropped” reference is because this image is a cropped version of this shot. The snowman was outside a house, this one. Mum, dad and both kids had been busy building the snowman and kindly allowed me to take a few shots …
