Garden in the City

A quiet little corner of Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh, Scotland. This little slice of greenery is sandwiched between Market Street and the railway tracks leading into Waverley Station.

Towering over the gardens is the Bank of Scotland Building at the Mound. The former Bank of Scotland headquarters, now headquarters of the merged HBOS, has dominated the northern flank of Edinburgh’s Old Town for 300 years.

Princes Street Gardens has long been recognized as one of the most scenic city gardens of any city in the world, a beautiful composition Tom with the HBOS building just adding a bit of architectural grandeur to the lush greenery of the gardens, very well captured and presented Tom.
