July 2008, North Caicos, it felt like 150 degrees…This woman was methodically making her way down the side of the road, as though there was no heat, just one step at a time, on her way to do her errands, looking so beautifully turned out and dignified.

    The elderly get lost in the shuffle of life,,,I am glad you took the time to photograph this strong woman walking in that heat,,,,it shows your compassion and thoughtfulness Nelson,...some would never notice…....wonderful image….

    Mary Ann – thank you so much…I find the image of that woman shows strength and dignity but it sure is poignant too. I so wish I had seen her face – even talked to her.
