I live at the head of the amazing and endangered Chesapeake Bay. My artistic abilities – or lack thereof – historically consisted of drawing boxes or stick figures. Photography allowed me into a universe of seeing things differently – more deeply and complexly. My eye for the world around me on a large and minute scale has sharpened.

I use Corel PSP only, and still feel I barely know how to use it and often don’t remember what I did to come up with a particular result! – Software has enabled me to take photos and transform them…Sometimes even the most disturbing finds can become beautiful through manipulation. I do not feel I use my imagination – it uses me – I just go with the flow. There is so much out there to learn and I intend to – in time.

This outlet has been a wonderful discovery for me and one that has changed my life through the inspiration it provides – for this I am grateful. My gratitude also extends to so many of my pals at JPG, where I got “started” with photography, so to speak – and now to those of you in Red Bubble. The vast and diverse talent within Red Bubble continues to amaze and inspire me.
