..grandma’s house we go.
The Easter egg hunt in Pittock Mansion.
I gave this title to Mrs Pittock instead of legendary Mr. Pittock for assumably the women didn’t come out behind her husband often those days.

Mr and Mrs Pittock had 10 children but 5 of them were deceased early and enjoyed 10 grandchildren.
I feel everyone go through their life with trial large and small.
painted with watercolor pigment on water-color paper,150lb,cold press.

Lovely nostalgic work. The good old days seemed so elegant! I love the way you did her shawl and hat!

It’s true, Tokiko. You may think someone has money and no worries, but
you never know if the thing they most want is out of their reach.

  • Thanks Maryann.
So true, I used to think those who don’t had to worry where the next meal comes from has misfortune as well as I to get by. But if they are truely happy and good people without worry I shouldn’t feel bitter. We don’t build our happiness over other people’s misfortune.

  • Thanks Maggie, a counter part of the “Walton”? Somehow the Walton bored me. I wonder why. Maybe because we grew accustom with them.
I think i like nostalgia because something not in this world appears romantic to me.
