19th avenue circa 1880's * special order prints: tokikoandersonart@gmail.com by

In late 19th century, Captain Couch claimed DLC in North West Portland 19th avenue to 22nd and 23rd. Each member of Couch Clan were sole occupant of each block. They sent their children to Couch school at North West 23rd and Glisan the private school
for the Couch family and the other children in the neighbor-hood, I recreated the scene from the book “19th Street”("street “had to be the”avenue" but this is the name of the book) . Captain Couch’s grand children were playing in their family property.
Rodney Glisan’s house in right. Glisan family owned J,K,Gill until 1990’s.

It is also my old work. Although its in different style I put this in since many people recognised and commented nicely in my gallery.
Water-colour, 140lb,cold press.

Do you sell your originals in a regular gallery?

  • Very fortunately i have non commercial display space can be called gallery costs me $50 per month.
Its located Alberta st. in Portland and we have ArtWalk event each month. I have no gallery representative at this time. i sell one or two originals per year. Its simple and I like to keep it this way,..(smile).
