A resident of higher elevations, after a long hike I set down my backpack to take a rest along side a subalpine lake. A few minutes later I caught this bird pulling food out of my pack, as I started to put my food back in he landed on my head as if I was a perch, goofy bird.

    Thanks Sandy :) They are such characters! They get really used to hikers because some people feed them, so they become pretty casual and food aggressive around humans, as this one shows.
