my friend was invited to play his harmonica with them … and chose to pass it up due to their exceptional skill level … no doubt, he would have been inspired with the group … how to do you like the resolution with nikon d-300 at 3200 iso … ti is exceptional from my POV

At 3600 ISO that is exceptional. I shoot a lot of availble light jazz at 1600 and I know what a trial it is. Nice interaction in the band. Cool shot. You should post in the ‘Jazzed Up Art’ group.

Mayne Island was a blast! Very musically saavy audience, nice venue with tables and food, and beaucoups ambience. I’m the drummer for the band, and we all agreed these folks know how to do it right when it comes to presenting live jazz. And needless to say from looking at the photos, Toby is top shelf all the way. I was aware of him moving about the club, working his camera from diverse locations, but he was stealthy, and never jeopardized the intimacy between the listeners and the band. Ya can’t ask for more than that!
