Sunset over Navy Channel

Navy Channel separates Mayne, Saturna, and Pender Islands – three of BC’s Gulf Islands. It is normally turbulent … but this evening it’s calm surface provided a beautify mirror for the evening sky.

Hi Angela … glad you like it .. shot it at 30 mph on my boat with one hand … we were late for the sea lions and didn’t want to miss this image. By the way, you may be a new pro, but a talented one. Saw your images and was quite impressed .. you have the eye … best of of luck with your career.

This is a stunning shot. I like the way the golden light difuses across the sky and dissipates into the grey/blue patterns of the clouds, perfectly reflected in the water below. Imagine what you can do with a tripod standing still. Well done Toby
