darn tootin’ hard to film one’s self .. well done for a first (smile) ... I believe with a bit more practice and a friend who can film you as monitorman then you will have a really great thing going here … suggest shots from father away to get full figure intermixed with shots of what is on monitor with a bit better resolution or? .. most of what was on the monitor was lost in this version … of course IMHO (smile) .. still very well done and such a unique idea! (smile)

Good suggestions Owlspook. Most of my friends are like artists with children and no time on their hands. You are right of course it does need some else to film it. Also the filming of any monitor looks rubbish in comparision to how it looks to the naked eye and mine camera is just a simple dvd job. Yes full shots of me in motion would certainly help though it is like the majority of my work best seen in person. The monitor itself is a 10.4’’ TFT screen and my own work on it looks stunning its just a shame that they look like fuzzy shots on film. Of course I really need the thing shot in action since it will be audience reaction that will also sell this device. I also intend to wear black gloves.
Many thanks for all your input

in addition you have to compress a film that last 10 mins a lot to put it on YOUTUBE the actual size is 134 gig compresses to 3.4 mb so you can see what might happen in the process.

hey dude that was impressive. im looking at how i render my vids and they are ;
windows media video v9
Audio: 64 Kbps, 44,100 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo.
Video: 29.970 fps, 720×480, Quality VBR 90, WMV V9 Compression.
so for my latest vid which is 3min 18 seconds – it was 97 mb in size.
also think of subscribing to tubemogul and upload through that site (which in turn will upload to youtube, google, metacafe etc)..

You-tube reduce the quality… damn now I understand
I might try to re-compress using your ratings
thanks mate
