wow!!!
JacquelineGwynne
Absurd, creepy and homoerotic… It’s great!
ToastedGhost
Thanks guys
I have posted this before on Flickr it always generates a number of different responses.
Though I never saw it as homoerotic before, but an image is what the viewer sees and not always what the artist imagines.
Aurora Pintore
This is an excellent picture!!!
EbonyKate
Great image! well done!
pryere
Disturbing, yet fascinating. I am the survivor of twins, this has a deep significance for me.
deahna
WOW, this is outstanding. I am not sure if I find it disturbing, but it definitely stirs something up inside.
Robert Mrvecka

atomikboy

Excellent work…ToastedGhost. We are the only ones who really know who we are ….we need to rely on ourselves….it is all we have. Weakness…vulnerable…Kindness…protection and strength. An emotional and thought provoking piece of artwork
flower68
beautiful, and confronting.I find myself imagining what it would feel like to physically hold myself like this,as though it were somebody elses’s love and acceptance, but mine,if u get me.wow.
JenniferB
amazing work. words fail me… for once, almost... conjoined, codependent, self-absorbed and self sustaining in a brilliantly autistic kind of way…
ToastedGhost
Thank guys
You know here on RB you guys are so much more expressive and articulate than my Flickr counterparts
LisaB entity
WOW you are a force to be reckoned LOL SUBLIME SURREALISM !!
Krisso
And push you have! This is just brilliant! I’m not sure why but it reminds me of th artist who did the melting clocks? I cant remember his name cos my brain is not working at the moment, sorry. But love this piece! Love it!
ToastedGhost
Salvador Dali is the name you search for. He has been a constant source of inspiration.
Thanks

This make think of the child inside us who wants to be hold and love ,so touching and moving ,beautiful.
Peter Zentjens
Indeed a totally different approach then mine. I really like the harsher light you used on yourself, makes it a very emotive image with that strong expression on your face. The effect is softened down a little again by your choice of backdrop. Excellent work.
MinoYasue
Becomes even more wired! Self affection!? I think I need on for my self.
Colin Tobin
Outstanding work — very creative.
You’ve executed the concept perfectly.

you love everyone around you, but people always forget to take the time to love themselves….

Makeba Kedem-D...
I love this image. Self-Love.. We all should, but I can’t stop myself from asking… Are you Leo, Libra, Gemini, or none of the above?
Peace…
Makeba Kedem-D...
This piece is so intriguing that I can’t stop analylizing it! It’s like your stronger self supporting your weaker self also, because the you on the right seems almost fetal, infant or childlike somehow, and the expression on your left face kinda has this all knowing thing going on. Whew! Or… maybe it’s a metaphysical father son relationship. Sorry, I can’t seem to stop…
peace
Dalton Sayre
I am inspired by your stunning image, but I can not seem to grasp a worthy string of adjectives.
helene ruiz
excellent….moving piece of work….just excellent!

Alisa Gonzalez

This is a great depiction of the self that I feel is a wonderful piece of work. Again you have used the elements wonderfully in this and the colors, clarity, emotions evoked make the viewer ponder and also think. Great stuff!
Headcrime
Great work again!
NewAgeVisionz
It’s important to push your abilities, excellent work on this…
Dave Martsolf
Glad to see that fragile has not yet been broken. I don’t think you could function if it was.
Carrie Gardner
stunning….
empathy and understanding given to YOURself…comfort and loving given to YOURself
We give so much to others and often forget abouts ourselves
Maureen Bloesch
WOW, great art!
Corinna Nicole
This piece could mean so many different things…it definately makes one’s mind wander. With the expression on the face, there seems to be a sense of nurturer as well as getting ready to let go
Wendy Slee
there is such power and emotion in this…..to be able to nurture and embrace the “self” fully as this art expresses…...what an amazing gift, a soulful insight…...
Ushna Sardar
great!
aspectsoftmk
for me…one of the things i love about rb is seeing the thoughts..art is for me so personal..does it catch my eye and then travel to my thoughts..or does it provoke a memory…does the art create dialog between myself and i…art creates a story unique to the eyes that see it..no two the same. we all see it as we do..

when i first saw this.. i felt an immediate touch my heart…and smile..if we could all hold ourselves in such gentle yet solid care and love.
yours would be a wonderful show to see…:)terri
