Tis truly very hard to destroy the hurt of the past without shaping it into something overpowering. For 3 years I lost my own name.. know instead by a crippling nickname used by pupils and staff… indeed coined by a teacher in the first place… maybe tthat is why I feel happier with names other than my own… “ToastedGhost”...

Many people close to me have suggested that facing past demons is overwhelming. I believe that not facing them is overwhelming but not so obvious as the affect stays with us over our whole lives. As such in my opinion not embracing the pain we have stored becomes more dangerous than protecting our minds from it.
