This is an interesting expression of contemporary humanity, almost a classic image of the new mind. I do think that the most important area that artists need to explore today is the psychology of the human/robot relationship.

This is amazing!! I guess some people may find it quite haunting but I actually find it calming. A bit like a guardian angel looking down on me. Love it.

Mesmerizing!

why should anyone (apart from yourself) want to enlarge it?
ToastedGhost replied
Judging by the previous comments I would I reckon others would.
In the past I have created work from a variety of models though strange as it may seem it is my self portraits that are the most popular, receiving excellent comments, favs and ultimately sales.

There is two worls..of mind..
The fixed one working as this strangeg cilicon circuit…
and the creative one..
exploding the capabilites for inventing Life.
Sometimes.. Culture is a fixed circuit of ways of doing things.
Methods, ideas, norms…. not very separated from this hightmare of brain circuity.
But intuition goes beyoder..
I love this image… ambivalent… and disquieting..
His blue.. intese blue eye, is loking straight behind a perfect square.. May be there…. lies one of his fixed propotions od no.develpment… but there is one thing for sure…
his beard…that is showing greyed and incipient.. is growing…. breaking the pattern of fixation and chaing the possibilities of his countenance…
Strong paradigma…

I repeat….
behind this manniernism…
behind the technocacry the cold elements of the portrait..
imagined..
not real..
is the profound soul..
of a poet.

Thank you for it is these kind words that relight my poetic torch.
Back in the late 70’s/80’s I used to write and recite poetry. They were often attacks upon the media and a then technologically hostile and increasingly sterile world. Ha! Then without warning I stopped writing. Though it seems strange upon reflection that at the time I did not notice its absence from my life. This gap lasted 22 years ‘til the water was turned back on.
A mass of poetry spilt from my brain and I wrote for another 3 years. Then and again without warning the poems evaporated and now I wait for their return.
RosaCobos
And we all will be waiting…!!!!
Poems or poetry do not vanish from our Soul. It is like a subterranean river… I kow it.
I beleive that we have all that we have inside… and that it flourishes depending on the soil we seed it.
It would be very interesting to read some of the “oldies”....yes… not for revival, but for making them to pass the “durability test”.. that is I am sure that these poetic thoughts of yours… are absolutely vigent now… And what I find fascinating is that you are absoluteley natural. Your art flows without getting yourself too identified… That is the perfect art…without an egotic background…
Have awarm hug.
