This 102 year old shipwreck is the floating forest and home to many birds like to live near the water.

The SS Ayrfield – previously known as the SS Corrima was built in 1911 in the UK and registered in Sydney in 1912 as a steam collier which was later used to transport supplies to American troops stationed in the Pacific region during World War II. The ship was retired and sent to Homebush Bay for breaking-up on 6 October 1972.

Great vibrant capture Arfan. I took a couple from that same place a few weeks ago but wasn’t too happy with mine. Have to go back again sometime.

  • Thanks so much Christina! I, too, wasn’t happy with my last result so gave it another go. I was thinking of going for more closer look but the sky really got me stranded in one spot. Cheers! :)

Beautiful .. . been there a couple of times myself but never lucky enough to get such a gorgeous sky. Well done :-)

  • Thanks so much Yolanda! Last time I’d a dull sky but good reflections. This time nice sky and no so much reflections. I guess I’ve to settle for this one until I find the right conditions that matches both. Cheers! :)
