Acapulco Lily
A new and distinct cultivar of lily plant named Acapulco, characterised by its intense and distinctive pink flower colour with deeper red spreading along the mid-vein, numerous very dark pink spot markings concentrated in centre, upright-oriented flowers, and its long flower stems.

I began my photographic hobby at the age of 12, developing and printing 120, 620 &35mm B&W, forever learning and refining the fascinating art of photography. Now at 78 I still continue with increased enjoyment using digital medium – and still learning.
My favourite places for photography are the Melbourne Zoos . These are the Melbourne Zoo , the Healesville Sanctuary and the Werribee Open Range Zoo.

    Tom, this is a GORGEOUS lily!! I have one that looks just like it called “Acapulco,” with an intensely sweet fragrance. I believe your lily is one of the “oriental” lilies rather than an asiatic or trumpet lily, and it probably is one of the last to bloom each summer. Mine blooms in late July into August. And Congratulations on its feature in Nature’s Wonders! – Pat
