My name is Tim Miklos. I graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1992. I started out in the art field working as an airbrush apprentice/graphic designer and then eventually becoming the owner of my own custom airbrush store from 1998 to 2008. After a short stay in Myrtle Beach, SC working as an airbrush/henna tattoo artist, I soon returned to the Pittsburgh, PA area in 2009. I am currently freelancing out of a private studio (iPaint Airbrush Studio) located in Bethel Park, PA . I try to freehand absolutely everything I can to avoid that airbrushed “stenciled” look.
My newest painting “Warpaint 2” is finally finished. I have been working on this one for most of the summer. She was painted with acrylics, newspaper, and charcoal pencils on a 33" by 48" piece of found drywall. #ipaintairbrushstudio #art #timmiklos #warpaint #nativeamerican #southwest #painting #airbrush #pittsburgh

In my current pieces, I am trying to spark a personal connection by using color and composition in such a way that engages the viewer on some level. There is energy in my painting process; I want them to expe…
