thanks, Adrian… this is a great part of town… trucks, trains carting off containers just unloaded from China, etc. and loading grain from Eastern Washington… lots of action and desolate at the same time.

Yeah, he is one of my fav artists. I doubt not knowing of De Chirico makes you a philistine ! Glad you looked him up : ] His work changed quite a bit in his older age, started adding lots of curly like bits and heaps more painterly. i loved the original title for yr image ! Hey ! also you might wanna check out Jeffery Smart, Australian artist if you aint already ? Another of my fav’s. He does lots of city scapes\landscapes devoid of humans mostly. Some have one sad looking lost human in there.
