Welcome and thanks for visiting!

I’m an amateur photographer who enjoys capturing all sorts of subjects. My early interest in black and white portraits and darkroom techniques have gradually yielded to the varied attractions of nature, partly inspired by my move from Chicago to Seattle in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Motivated early on by training with Art Wolfe, and more recently with the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, these days I seem to be most attentive to reflections, close-ups and water abstracts. I have shown my work locally and been featured in Shutterbug magazine. Here is my personal web site which has additional images.

It is said that art exists only in the response of the viewer. I hope these images exist for you! Please send me a bubblemail to say hi… I’d love to hear from you.

Please visit The Gift of Art where a number of photographers have donated their images for sale, with all proceeds going to charitable organizations. For May-Aug 2008, sales benefit the US National Cancer Institute.

Also check out my “favorites” and “watchlist” sections (on the right). There’s so much great work on RB, I try to keep these fresh and limited in length, but it’s hard!
