Tracey’s paintings present a contemporary feel to age old subjects whether through the use of still life and its associated metaphors, the memory of a beautiful adventure or abstraction. In the fast pace of our times, her work offers an oasis of tranquillity and reflects the hope of new life, stillness, anticipation or the sense of being in “…the experience of the here and now”.
Tracey was born and lives in Kent, UK. She studied contemporary fine art in Canterbury at the University for the Creative Arts. She has also participated in many community projects with children and youth groups and has exhibited in group and solo exhibitions across the South-East and in London, including a floor piece called ‘Vices and Virtues’ for the Millennium Arts Festival in Rochester Cathedral. Many of her paintings are in private collections throughout the UK. Her current solo exhibition ‘39 Stripes’ can be seen in Loose Baptist Church, Maidstone, Kent.
