ECHO vs EGO

During a dark night of the soul, this writing came to be…

ECHO vs EGO belongs to the following groups:

Core [C.O.R.E], Masterpieces: Literary Workshop, Sisters in Arms (feminine relationship described), The Healing Journey, WMG and ☮Peace☮

An echoing soul
starves the ego…
to balance this
divine integration
of consciousness
evolving…
Which force
CHOSEN
will lead to
new dimensions
OR
imprison us
to our pasts?
Echoes are distinguished
and responsible;
while EGO’s are scorn-driven
to blame
choosing chaos and drama.
A centered soul echoes
GRACE
and Gratitude
just going with the flow~
An ego never has enough
of what it’s entitled
to feeling stuck in.
Guided by the ECHO
of your soul
OR
Driven by your EGO
is your personal choice
in this human
EXPERIENCE…
Which do you aspire
to encourage
in your journey?

My life’s experiences have led me to a place in my heart saved for a simple and humble existence…. why mess with what is peaceful, lovely and happy? Besides, there are enough huge non-fulfilling, non-edifying egos out there already…. I know ‘cause I left mine behind a long, long time ago. Thanks Tammy for reminding us of that dead-end choice, because it is indeed a choice. Much love to you and yours!!! {:{)

Great words, Tammy. Sometimes it’s only in retrospect one can see that EGO has been the problem. Agnes xx

I am forever trying to starve my Ego, but it is a never ending battle.
I do like feedback on my images, and I also like Criticism, but my Ego also like it as well. So I am always weary of showing my pleasure.
Echoing my true feelings for my family and friends is what I love, but my ego is also thriving on it.
    So I live in a dilima ??

  • tkrosevear replied

welcome to humanity bro, the key is you know there’s a difference and at least try to starve the lil’ bugger ~ I still feed mine snacks on occasion, hehehe ;) xoxox love ya ♥

Overcoming the Ego is the path I choose, but the Ego does get in the way at times. A hard battle where each sounds victory at different times. I hope that the Echo reflects most of the time. This is another masterpiece of your writing.

  • tkrosevear replied

thanks so much JR, from my experiences with you, I’d have to say the ECHO shines more brightly ;) xoxox ♥

I fail to ask for a successful one
I have the fame but not the fortune
and one of them eats my pockets…

    “Soul’s Resonance”
    Wellcome to the temples
    where the breathing is echoing…Life.
Who is the one prosecuting ego’s demands?
    I feel tired right now.
And I am not searching for happiness..
    though, formally…
    driven by the happiness echoes.
Who is the one that is choosing?
Loved your words. Accurate and provoking. That is why I cling to images construing You just contemplate and let it go….the Journey.

Awesome as always Sis! I think we are all faced with ego, but it’s a matter of not becoming egotistical. The people I admire the most are those who echo humility rather than having a constant need to feed the ego! I went through this with my Dad and his ego ended up destroying his ability to truly love, be himself, and live in peace…I’m just blessed that I can understand the why’s of his need for egotism now!!! Excellent job and echo, echo, echo!! xoxoxo sis!! :))))

grace and gratitude….. such beautiful things that truley have been lost in today’s ego driven world…... in societies and cultures of today it is unfortunate that those who yell the loudest or use the ” I ” word in every written work … are the people that get heard….... humility has been usurped by popularity… and heartfelt soulful writing becomes the exception and not the norm…...... so it is both refreshing and wonderful to stumble upon such selfless writing as this….. words that reach out to everyone .. without ego or agenda….

a very giving work here… a pleasure to read and to ponder…........b

Sometimes a balance is required, in order to march forward and follow the echo of the soul, a touch of ego can help to resist, or crash through, the obstacles… Lovely writing Tammy, and a pertinent question :-)
