Paper Dragons

Paper Dragons ~ twin souls emblazoned upon black jade
singed and scarred in battles, labeled society’s renegades

Quiet visions of the fires that burn so deeply inside
Shadows cross over to be faced, with their needs applied

Bridges crossed and burned once, are new paths yet to seed
while echoes of true friendship grow, without a need to lead

Great heARTfelt rhythms in common to be shared
our evolution is quickening, for this we’ll be prepared

Primordial power guards these worn warrior masks
with the oracle of Dragon-sight, seeking faith yet to ask

Breathing fires of creativity to those in need of kindling
whilst dousing violence and drama until it is dwindling

Healed and whole as ONE ~ Dragon renegades unite
sharing strengths’ love, whilst peace does take flight.

Are they wild…. the paper dragons?
Somehow… they are homely,
their hollow bodies warmed by human prespiration.
The imagining of what if there to be feared…
without too much attention..
almost with delight.
